Privacy Policy

This policy explains what FlipIt (“FlipIt,” “we,” “us”) does with your data when you use our AI tools to analyze and remix social content. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect and how we use it

• Media and links you submit. When you paste a URL or upload a video, image, or audio file, we process it transiently — only for as long as it takes to fulfill your request (for example, to download, transcribe, score, or erase a watermark). FlipIt does not permanently store your uploaded media after the request is served.
• On-device data. Your browser's localStorage holds your Pro access token and your local history of past results. This lives on your own device, not on our servers, and you can clear it any time from your browser settings.
• Basic request logs. Our hosting and processing providers keep standard server logs (such as IP address, timestamp, and user agent) to operate the service, debug problems, and prevent abuse.

Third-party sub-processors

To provide certain features, FlipIt sends the minimum data needed to these third parties, who process it on our behalf:

• Anthropic (Claude) — runs AI models that analyze content, rewrite scripts, and generate ideas and prompts.
• OpenAI (Whisper) — transcribes spoken audio from videos you submit.
• Netlify — hosts the FlipIt website and runs the serverless functions that handle your requests.
• Railway — runs the media-processing jobs (such as heavier video downloading and watermark erasing).

These providers receive only the content necessary to perform their part of your request. We do not attach account profiles or marketing identifiers to that content.

We do not sell your data

FlipIt does not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising or marketing.

Cookies and local storage

FlipIt does not use tracking cookies or run third-party advertising analytics. The only persistent data on your device is the localStorage described above (your Pro token and local history). Removing it will sign you out of Pro on that device and clear your local history.

Your rights

Because we don't keep a user database of your media, most of your data already lives only on your own device and clears when you clear your browser storage. If you would like us to delete any information associated with you (such as records tied to a Pro purchase), email fadiagulec@gmail.com and we will handle your request. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights to access or correct your data.

Children

FlipIt is not directed to children under 13 and is not intended for their use.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we'll update this page and change the “Last updated” date above.
